Glenorchy War Memorial Pool is reopening on Thursday 1 October and we’re planning a celebration for that weekend! In partnership with Glenorchy City Council, we’re excited to invite you to celebrate the official opening of Glenorchy War Memorial Pool on Saturday 3 October, from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm.

Come along for a fun-filled day celebrating the return of this much-loved community facility, with something for everyone: 🎶 Live music 🎯 Games and activities 🎁 Giveaways 🌭 Free BBQ 🏊‍♂️ Plenty of poolside fun and more!

Entry to the pool will be FREE across the opening weekend, so bring your family and friends and come and enjoy the pool. If you’re able, we will be inviting visitors to make a gold coin donation with the funds being donated to the Belgravia Foundation. The Belgravia Foundation is a registered charity working to reduce barriers to participation in sport, aquatic, fitness, recreation and health programs. These funds will go towards ensuring swimming lessons are accessible to everyone within the Glenorchy community. To further support this initiative, Glenorchy City Council has committed to matching every dollar raised, helping more people in the community learn the lifesaving skill of swimming.
