We are excited to announce that the GOswim program will be coming to Glenorchy War Memorial Pool on Monday 19 October 2026. We look forward to providing the Glenorchy community with the opportunity to learn important, lifesaving skills in a fun and engaging program.
Developed in partnership with Swimming Australia, the GOswim Swimming & Water Safety Program has been built on a foundation of research and planning, ensuring the curriculum aligns with and transcends the strategies of peak organisations within Australia and globally. Our passionate, fully qualified GOswim team are dedicated to providing the highest standard of aquatic education to inspire a love of swimming for life.
GOswim is perfect for all ages to learn essential swimming and water safety skills, all while having fun and building confidence in the water.

Everyone’s GOswim journey is powered by innovative technology. Enrol in lessons via our Active World app. Follow the steps below:
- Download the Active World app
- Create an account
- Tap Book Weekly Lesson from the home screen
- Add each student you wish to enrol, if not yourself. Then simply follow the prompts to find a lesson and time that suits you
- Add the promo code NOJOIN to receive $0 enrolment fee!
The Active World app was specifically designed to improve communication and interaction between our GOswim team and students, parents/carers. Your self-managed personal portal will enable you to:
- View upcoming classes
- Book new classes
- Advise of us of student absence and book a make-up lesson
- Track learning pathways, skill achievement and progression
- Receive digital awards for effort, teamwork, perseverance and having FUN!
- Send and receive messages to the Centre staff
- Manage personal and billing details
