Glenorchy War Memorial Pool – Season Pass and GOswim Membership Giveaway Competition 20 – August – 1 September 2026

1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these conditions of entry. Entry into the promotion is deemed acceptance of these conditions of entry.
2. Entry is open to any person residing in the Town of Glenorchy municipality in Tasmania, Australia who is aged 18 years and over, void elsewhere and/or where prohibited by law. Employees of the Promoter, the Promoter’s associated companies, the Promoter’s agencies associated with this promotion and their immediate families are ineligible to enter.
3. Promotional Period – The promotion commences at 12:01pm (AEST) on 20 August 2026 and closes at 4:00pm (AEST) 1 September 2026. (“Promotional Period”).
4. The competition will be promoted on the Glenorchy War Memorial Pool website, and Facebook and Instagram page.
5. To enter the promotion, eligible persons must, within the Promotional Period, visit the Promoter’s website and enter the required details into the competition subscription form.
6. Individuals can only enter the competition once.
7. All eligible entries will be entered into the prize draw. No responsibility will be taken for entries lost, delayed, or not completed properly.
8. All entries will also join the Glenorchy War Memorial Pool mailing list subscription by completing the subscription application or completing a manual entry form via the advertisement.
9. Entrants are responsible for their own costs associated with accessing the internet.
10. This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with, Meta. Entrants are providing their information to the Promoter and not to Meta. By entering and participating, the entrant agrees to hold harmless, defend and indemnify Facebook from and against any and all claims, demands, liability, damages or causes of action (however named or described), losses, costs or expenses, with respect to or arising out of or related to
    (i) entrant’s participation in the Sweepstake, or (ii) entrant’s participation in any Prize related activities, acceptance of a Prize and/or use or misuse of a Prize (including, without limitation, any property loss, damage, personal injury or death caused to any person(s).
11. The draw will take place at 2.00pm AEST on 2 September 2026 at Belgravia Health & Leisure Group Pty Ltd (ABN: 18118940063), 20 Longstaff Road Bayswater Victoria, 3153 Australia.
12. The winner will be notified in writing (email) within two (2) working days of the draw date and the winner has five (5) working days to claim the prize. If the winner fails to claim the prize in five (5) working days a redraw will take place.
13. The winners first name and locality will be published on Glenorchy War Memorial Pool Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/glenorchywarmemorialpool/ and Instagram https://www.instagram.com/glenorchywarmemorialpool/ by Monday 7 September 2026.
14. Competition offers four (4) prizes in total to four (4) winners. Each winner will select one (1) prize based on availability. 
15. Prizes available, one (1) per winner:
    • Two (2) x Season Pass to Glenorchy War Memorial Pool (valued at $344.00 each)
    • Two (2) x GOswim Season Membership (17 lessons) at Glenorchy War Memorial Pool (valued at approx. $390.60 each)
16. Prizes are to be redeemed for the upcoming 2026/2027 operating period.
17. If you are already hold a season pass or GOswim membership, your membership will be adjusted to redeem the prize.
18. The Prize cannot be redeemed for cash or transferred to another name and is subject to Glenorchy War Memorial Pool Terms and Conditions and Standard 30 days cancellation notice period applies. Standard suspension fees apply.
19. Please note, the season pass and GOswim membership prize and facility access will not be available until Glenorchy War Memorial Pool officially opens to the public and swimming lessons commence. Facility management will provide updates about the official opening date and the winner will be notified via email or social media.
